The entrance to the house is guarded by two massive stone columns that support the private covered master bedroom deck. When you walk in the house you can immediately see the lake through the towering vaulted windows. The kitchen and entryway feature exposed rough sawn fir beams and tongue and groove ceiling. The kitchen has beautiful granite countertops and stainless steel GE appliances. There is even a double oven and induction cooktop. Other touches include under cabinet LED lighting, an appliance garage, and a pop up mixer from the cabinet. The center island features a chiseled granite edge with metal foot rest and 3 bar stools. The great room features a gas fireplace with fir beam mantle with a 50” Samsung TV, Devon Receiver, Blu Ray and surround sound. The Great room has a 20ft vault with ridge beams and an incredible view of the lake. The main floor has a rich hickory engineered flooring throughout. The Guest bedroom has a vaulted ceiling and ceiling fan with an incredible view of the lake and private access to the main deck. The main deck is 20x20 and had a propane gas grill outlet, privacy screen from the neighbors, and covered with clear lexan with UV protection. Access to the beach is via the natural stone steps along the side of the house.
The floors are connected via an open stairwell with stair lights and chandelier. The stairs to the master feature open beam treads. The master features a Romeo and Juliet Balcony that has a view of both sides of the peninsula. There are double doors for privacy. There is also an adjoining study. The bathroom shower is vaulted and the bathroom window also has an amazing view of the lake. There is a covered deck through the French doors of the master bedroom that overlooks the other side of the lake.
If you take the steps to the lower level you are greeted by the beautifully acid stained concrete throughout the lower level. There is one bathroom with double sinks and plenty of linen storage. There are two bedrooms with queen beds and oversized closets. There is a laundry room with a sink and then washer and dryer. There is also a huge 20x20 recreation room with surround sound hookups. There are oversized 8ft high sliders that take out out to the lower deck area. The lower deck feature a compass dial and stamped concrete finish with real stone steps to the beach. This lower deck nook also has plenty of lighting and a gas grill hookup as well. The back of the house has beautiful corbels holding up the roof and incredible beamwork coming from the 3 main stone columns in the back. One of the columns has a shower and footbath built into it. (non-working - frozen pipes). The house also has a detached garage, but that is off limits. There is enough parking for 2-4 cars in Tandem outside the garage.
The house has a 60 foot dock and has a wonderful southern western exposure with a flat sandy beach. This is an excellent shallow swimming beach. You can go about 80 feet out and it is still chest high. There is a fire pit and picnic bench chairs to enjoy the evening bon fire depending on the local burning restrictions. The house is finished but we ran out of funds to landscape. The house has beautiful interior beam work. All the trim is knotty alder with solid doors. We can rent it out a week at a time $600/nt + $300 cleaning fee.
